Riding Programs     

     Our riding programs are carefully individualized. We will assess your ability and ensure that you and your horse are well matched. Whether you are a novice or an experienced rider, our diverse riding programs will meet your needs.

     Each trip is tailored to the preferences of our riders.  Some of our more popular rides are described below:

1. Introductory Trip - $65.00
2. Adventure Ride - $90.00
3. Moonlight Ride - $125.00
4. Overnight Camping/Pack Trip - (4 person minimum)  $250-$350
5. Mt. Washington Trip - (4 person minimum) $150

RIDING APPAREL

Introductory Trip:  $65.00

A four-mile trail ride to acquaint you with our horses, programs and the beauty of the Berkshire Region. 

(1 to 1.5 hrs., depending on pace).

Adventure Ride:  $90.00

An eight-mile trail ride with a short break for refreshments.  Enjoy endless mountain trails along cool mountain streams and canters through open fields.  (2.5 to 3 hours, depending on pace.)

Moonlight Ride:  $125.00

A nine-mile trail ride featured each month during the week of the full moon.  The ride begins before sundown and takes you to a ridge to view the sunset with panoramic views of Hudson Valley.  The ride continues through dusk until the campsite is reached, where a delicious dinner is prepared over an open fire.  The trip home is ridden by the light of the moon.   All menus are planned in advance with the riders.  We can accommodate most special dietary needs.

Overnight Camping:  $250 - $350

Customized for each group, these trips include horses, guides, camping gear (except sleeping bags), meals and beverages.  A special way for friends and families to spend time enjoying the outdoors.  All menus are planned in advance with the riders.  We can accommodate any special dietary needs.  Minimum of 4 people required.

Mt. Washington Trip:  $150

Full day rides and overnight trips (duration 15—50 miles).  Breathtaking views from trails paralleling the Appalachian Trail in the most remote wilderness in the Berkshire Mountains.  This area is only accessible on foot or horseback.  Minimum of 4 people required.

Ride to Town (Breakfast/Sunday Brunch/Lunch/Dinner):  $125.00

Enjoy a ride along mountain trails and then into the town of Millerton, where you will “hitch” up your horse and have a delicious breakfast, Sunday brunch, lunch or dinner at one of our wonderful restaurants of your choice.   You can ride back to the stables after your meal or we will gladly provide transportation back.  Either way, it is an  experience you won’t forget!  (3 to 4 hours, depending on pace.)

Fall Foliage Ride:  $125.00

Saddle up to view the Fall foliage in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains!

View spectacular views on an easy-paced guided trail ride in the Berkshire Mountains. Riders can expect to see an abundance of color and wildlife such as deer, wide turkeys and more.    Enjoy a lovely lunch while looking at gorgeous scenery.  (3 to 4 hours depending on pace).
