Western Riding Stables is owned and operated by the Mulhall family.  Originally started as their family farm in the early 1980’s, the Mulhalls opened Western Riding Stables to the public due to the demand for a riding facility that catered to experienced trail riders.  “We started off with only 5 horses and no barn...over the last 15 years, we have grown to over 90 horses, 2 barns and 20 stalls and an outdoor arena — in addition to over 5,000 acres to ride on.”

     Brian Mulhall, owner of Western Riding Stables, has over 40 years experience with horses.  A native of the Berkshire Region, he has extensive knowledge of horsemanship and training.  Brian is certified by the Camp Horsemanship Association (CHA).  He is also certified in English and Western, Advanced Level; Overnight Wilderness guide and EAGALA, Level #1.
